Holy Trinity Church

The Holy Trinity Parish Hall in Devonport, originally built in 1911 and seating up to 250 people, underwent a transformative refurbishment and seismic strengthening project, led by Cook Brothers in collaboration with MPM Projects and Waitākere Architects. The works included removal of the existing extension and demolition, followed by a rebuild of new communal spaces including a small chapel and upgraded conference facilities. High heritage value elements were preserved, such as stained glass windows dating back to the 1800s.

Client: Holy Trinity Church

Main Contractor: Cook Brothers Construction

Prodigy Plumbing Gas & Drainage was engaged to deliver full internal hydraulic services in support of this heritage-focused refurbishment. Our scope included preslab and underslab drainage, hot and cold water reticulation, internal gas pipework, sanitary fixture installation, roof terminal vents, and external downpipe connections. We ensured all systems were commissioned to a high standard within the context of tight compliance and heritage preservation requirements. Coordination on site in an active community venue added complexity to the delivery.
