Ranui Domain, Ranui
As part of Auckland Council’s investment in community sports and recreational infrastructure, Prodigy Plumbing Gas & Drainage was engaged to support the refurbishment of the Ranui Domain toilet and changing facilities. The upgrade has created safe, modern amenities that cater to multiple sporting codes, weekend tournaments, and community events, improving the long-term usability of this well-used facility.

Our works included new internal and external water mains, full replacement of hot and cold pipework, new sanitary drainage and venting, and connections to existing services. We installed new fixtures throughout both changing rooms and the upgraded toilet block, and completed commissioning of the hot water systems and multiple Delabie commercial shower panels.
The scope also involved plant room installation of dual 315L Rheem heavy-duty electric water heaters with custom seismic restraints and safety trays, along with core drilling and concrete cutting. Coordination across two project phases was essential to minimise disruption and deliver plumbing infrastructure designed for long-term durability under high public use.
