Lynfield YMCA
Prodigy Plumbing Gas & Drainage was engaged to deliver full hydraulic services for the upgrade of the Lynfield Youth and Leisure Centre at Margaret Griffin Park, Mount Roskill - a vibrant community facility used by thousands of Aucklanders every week. The project aimed to improve accessibility, safety, and long-term functionality across the changing and bathroom areas, ensuring the centre can continue to serve a diverse and growing community.

Our scope included the staged disconnection, pipe-out, and installation of 36 new sanitary fixtures across the upgraded bathroom and changing areas. We completed new hot and cold water reticulation, compliant waste connections, point-of-use tempering, and commercial-grade fixture fit-off across accessible, male, and female facilities. In addition, we supplied and installed a new hot water cylinder for the women’s changing room and upgraded the existing unit in the men’s area with new seismic strapping, safe trays, and valving to bring it up to code.
